Mason Molina turned in 5.1 scoreless innings of work, and the Arkansas offense put together 10 hits en route to a victory that inflates Arkansas' record to 17-2. The Hogs' lone home run of the game came off the bat of Ben McLaughlin, who went 1-2 on the day with two walks.
While Arkansas had already secured a series victory on Saturday, Sunday's win ensures the Razorbacks take a 3-0 conference record to the Plains of Auburn, where they start their next SEC series on Thursday evening.
Arkansas has now won 13 games in a row and beat Missouri this weekend by a total of 23-1. The Tigers simply had no answer for the Arkansas offense or pitching staff, leading to a weekend where Missouri looked like a team with little hope of postseason aspirations.
Arkansas, meanwhile, will remain the No. 1 team in the country following the weekend's college baseball slate, and will now turn its attention to a road series against Auburn, who is ranked No. 12 in the country as of Sunday but was swept by Vanderbilt over the weekend.
Auburn is sure to offer more of a challenge to Arkansas than Missouri, but Dave Van Horn is sure to have his team prepared to face a very talented Auburn squad on the road. Arkansas gets its second SEC series of the season underway at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday evening, the first of three contests with the Tigers over the weekend.
